Swap file expansion for FLDIGI on Raspberry Pi iv
I would suggest with 4gb it will probably not hit swap, just give it a try.

That probably depends on how much RAM your Pi 4 has. Swap is just a place for the OS to place memory when there is insufficient RAM attached.

APRS Digipeater, TNC Recommendations Please
If you read the User Guide for Direwolf, you will find that even though VOX is supported, it is not recommended and goes into explanation why.

APRS Digipeater, TNC Recommendations Please
Direwolf can do the digipeater and igate natively. If this is a remote system (e.g. mountaintop) you can keep it pretty simple. A review of the User Guide will show you many capabilities.

If using DRAWS™ with Direwolf, it can do PTT using GPIO. Direwolf supports PTT a variety of ways, look at the User Manual (online) for examples.

If you were using DRAWS™ HAT there are some good starting points in this message thread. The scripts by N7NIX discussed there might be helpful getting newer versions of the applications up and running
