No, you need to stop the RF before it gets to the radio. A common mode choke at the antenna and radio is the way to stop your problems.

Need A GOOD USB cable. Shielded and with Ferrite cores on it to keep RFI out. Also keep the Pi as far away from the TX as possible.

Check out KM4ACK website for Build-A-Pi apps on RaspberryPi. or
W3DJS for HamPi 2.0.

KM4ACK has made a batch file program that allows you to build up a Pi for ham use with a variety of programs you can choose. Look for "Build-a-Pi" or BAP. He has a YouTube video that takes you through

Make Sure you download the older 32 bit version and it’s going to be slower… some memory intensive ones may not run.

Ham Pi on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 w...???
#hampi
Hi
Can a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W run Ham Pi ?
Is it just to download the Ham Pi image and flash it over on the SD card ?
Is there a How to get started guide, I'm brand new to Raspberry Pi.

I suggest connecting a 5-ohm or even a 1-ohm load across the output (no R-Pi) and then measuring the voltage. Run it until the regulator gets uncomfortably warm and if that happens very quickly maybe
