Besides PowerSDR, you would also need Virtual Audio Ports, Virtual Serial Ports, DDUtils, and possibly other software to make it work with any of the mode software like FLDIGI or WJTX.

I also have a Flex-1500. The only software that works is PowerSDR and that is only available on Windows.
I have not heard of anyone trying to port it to Linux.

I have added the Fldigi group to your issue. According to a Flex group it's a challenge. 73

If you learn of any Linux software that will interface well with the Flex 1500, please post it here. I am also interested in using a Pi to control a Flex 1500.
Thanks & 73,

My WIn 8 machine I use for my Flex 1500 is about dead. I'm interested in transitioning to Rasberry Pi. Anyone using Raspberry Pi with a Flex 1500?

Have you tried a different value for the resistor? Perhaps a 1K?

Older thread, but I am now using the Pi-zero with PSK-31. The trick is using a more simplified program. LinPSK works like a charm and offers several modes including PSK31 and RTTY. The latest version

Re: Pi9K6 Help
The Pi9K6 runs 1200 just fine. OP never said he was trying to run 9600. His issue is it isn’t reliably keying his HT.

9600 baud requires discriminator audio as it is frequency shift keying and not audio frequency shift keying like 1200 baud packet. Unless you hack in to the HT to tap discriminator audio for the 9600

9K6 is unlikely to work with mic/ls connections on your radio. Radio's audio bandwidth isn't good enough.
