LinBPQ (Nov 18 version) is getting a Remote Pole from TNC-Pi9K6 after about a minute. Does anyone else have experience getting i2c to work with TNC-Pi9K6? Does anyone have newer Teensy Projects firmware for KISS TNC?

Also LinBPQ (Jan 19 version) is not setting i2c based on bpq32.config. It only uses bus 0 device 1.

Long touch right click Raspberry pi 3 with 7 inch screen stretch

Dennis Blanchard

Is there an update somewhere that I am missing for the "Stretch" that allows one to do a long touch right click? I'm not using a mouse and am missing have drop-down menus for choices. It looks like this feature was lost a few years ago with "Jessie." I've found discussion about using a two-finger right-click, but with such a small screen, that could prove tough.

Also, I'm using a Bluetooth keyboard (Amazon KT-1167) that does not have a tilda ( ~ ) key, is there a way to generate that? It does have an "option/alt" key.

Thanks all

In case someone else has this question - https://ardop.groups.io/g/users/topic/ping_winlink_gateway/29094656?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate%2Fsticky,,,20,2,0,29094656

I still haven't played with the telnet to try and make it work.

There is no way to ping a gateway.  Try to connect.  If u hear good tones then u will connect.  Use the propagation prediction as a guide but not absolute ability to connect.

I have WSJT-x and JTDX installed and they both are running. I’ve made a few contacts on both apps. My question though is “with the ALSA included on the pi I can see the audio speaker but ALSA does not allow me to see or control the mic level from the 7300’s codec. How can I see and change the input level?
it seems to be on ‘automatic’ mode. But it works. I am a newbie to the r-pi and am just learning how to get around in raspbian.

"Ping" a Winlink Gateway?

Is it possible to "ping" a winlink gateway, using ARDOP, to see if you can hear it and it can hear you instead of just trying to connect? I am running Pat Winlink on a RPi 3.

My Chinese JumboSpot arrived today.  Got it installed on my RPI M2B and after a few struggles got my cheap DMR hotspot working.  Thanks to those who helped!

If your trying to pull the information from a file, the grep command will search for strings. You might also find the sed command useful.

I gotta say, that's a pretty good video John. I didn't sleep through it or anything! :)

I'm contacting my VPS host to see if they would set up this kind of arrangement. Thanks!

Re: Pi2 Model V1.1 for hotspot?

That's the one I have set in configuration.  Guess now I'll just have to wait for the hat to arrive and see if it works.

Thanks!

My Chinese hotspot uses the STM32_MMDVM_HS-Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO)

You do not need a display.
Most likely the modem not being set is why you have no options on Brandmeister selfcare.
Hope this helps.
