Danny,

I had a number of "armchair lawyers" attacking my license on Reddit. When I spoke up, they started attacking me. I decided the best thing was to take the site offline until that dumpster fire dies down and I add additional verbage into the license.

So you can thank that disgruntled group of people for the GitHub site being taken offline for the time being.

Not really. 5Ghz does not penetrate walls so well, so you don’t get the same area coverage and may get reduced speed.

I have the same issues in some parts of my house.

Hi Dave

I finally figured it out, I had expected it to open the transmission tool automatically

like in previous uses. I has finished downloading and is now seeding for others. I

have sent Dave a direct email informing him of my success too. I am going to leave the

seed up for a few days to allow for others to follow suit.

Thanks

https://github.com/dslotter/HamPi/issues doesn't exist. I get a 404.

This link is also in the CONTRIBUTE.TXT file of the release package.

https://github.com/dslotter?tab=repositories doesn't list HamPi.

I am also not getting good results flashing the MicroSD card. I've tried three different cards.

Etcher complains about mismatched checksums. Same checksums reported on multiple tries.

The sha256 hash on the img.xz file is good.

I was one of the torrent downloads today. About 2:30pm Central time.

Thanks

I was using Win32 Disk Imager.  I'll try again with Etcher and let you know.

What size in the .img file that you have?
You don't need to format the SD Card, the raw image copy program will take care of it (and will overwrite it anyway).
Are you using Balena Etcher to copy the image to the SD Card?
If that doesn't work, provide details.

Any thoughts on a Field Day specific logging app with rig interface (to capture freq/band, mode, etc) that runs on the pi?

CQR log doesn’t really fit for Field Day.

Im looking at so2sdr, but I’m not sure I get how it operates - need to play with it a bit more:
https://github.com/n4ogw/so2sdr

any other apps to look at?
