The configuration stuff is mostly ok, but you no longer need to create symlinks for the serial port(s) to your TNC(s). You can just put, for example, COMPORT=/dev/ttyUSB0 in the configuration.

If you are using a KISS TNC such as the TNC-PI the stuff about testing the TNC and putting into KISS won't apply.
