Could be logging in the local directory of the program as well. Most apps log to /var/log, but some log locally

No but chances are it’s the log files.
You can put a cron job in there to remove anything in /var/log that has an extension of .gz
There’s probably something so simple, what is in the syslog? What’s in dmesg?
It certainly sounds like a log file being filled up.
Another way is to have /var/log on its own partition so that if it fills up it won’t fill up the root partition.
That will at least let you get in there to find out what’s going on. Without more information I can’t help. But feel free to contact me off list.
Hi all… About to drop my Pi listed in subject line..
I cannot find a solution to a problem I have. And it basically renders it useless for my efforts.
What is happening is after 12-24 hours and sometimes less.. The SD card fills from 29 to 100% (When at 100% my software is unable to send or receive Email (axmail) and Packet Messages via Jnos.
It still seems to serve net44 connects very well.
I have looked high and low for a solution to this problem.. All I find are references to bad SD Cards.. This is a new card so I am not suspecting as the problem..
‘Anyone else see this problem with their Pi 2
Thanks 73 Jerry N9LYA
