Re: Raspberry Pi 2 Composite Video

Hi

All of my interaction with video connections it has alway been red audio
right channel, white left channel,
and yellow video. I think that is a standard of some sort.

have you tried all 3 rca connectors for video, or only the red one?
my cable was supposed to be the red connector for video as well, but I
had nothing. My video was on the Yellow, and red and white were audio,
even though the info I had said my cable would be red for video.
by default, the Pi (old and pi2) both output Composite and HDMI unless
you modify config.txt to disable one or the other

The issue with my pi 2 is not the cable and
not the monitor. I have the correct cable and I know the
monitor works. What is not working is the Pi 2. I can not
get it to out put composite video through the 3.5mm
port.
Thanks
