Trip to the macabre

The real version of this is:

"This railway leads the unsuspecting traveler to the shadowy tip of reality. You're on an overnight express with no one you recognize at the throttle, a boiler as hot as the gates of hell, where the only hand you can reach for is a glad hand. You're on a through route through the land of the prehistoric, a land of the different, the bizarre, the macabre, the unexplainable.

Go as far as you want down this track but remember that once on board there is no turning back... There are no stops for train orders and more importantly no return trip at least until tomorrow. It's limits are only those of the grade that it climbs, of the dangerous ravines it crosses, and of the mind itself.

Ladies and Gentlemen, you're about to enter another world of a wondrous dimension where not even the gauge is 4 foot, 8 and a half inches across, a place where not even Steve Allen Goen has visited.

And that place is....

It’s on my bucket list.

Maybe I should organize a steam safari once Covid clears up.
