The GT&W had great aspirations to extend its reach--even to Lubbock, Ft. Worth, and Dallas.
Passenger service did reach Mineral Wells by trackage rights over the WMW&NW.

Note that the map shows the line completed between Seymour and Benjamin when in fact it never got past Seymour.
