Consist Corner : C&TS snow-clearing train
May 16, 1994 was a day C&TS operated a snowplow train up to Cumbres Pass
and beyond. The snow that year was not quite as deep as the previous year but
deep enough to use the rotary anyway
At Chama

Consist Corner : Astra Train
Yep, Astra not Astro.
On April 12, 1992 there was a nationwide convention of cardiologists in Dallas.
As part of the entertainment a special train of private cars was chartered to take
the good

Re: Consist Corner : Cotton Belt excursion train
I remember the 1993 train had to be pulled backwards from Athens back to Tyler by a six axle Cotton Belt or SP diesel. We also had a cool night photo shot with the 819 on the Tyler turntable.

Re: Ed Seay passes
Jim,
I did find this, but no video or links to video I can find of it.
The MAL Web Link is long gone… for sale at a price.
And most likely the Phone Number

I remember back in high school that the UIL had slide rule competition. I'm not sure that they still do, maybe someone knows.
Can you imagine being the Texas UIL class 6A slide rule champ? I'm sure
