Re: FW: SUBSCRIBERS: Unlock More Great Railroading Expertise! 🗝
Not likely. I have full blown membership and still can’t access on line news wire.
Ridiculous.
At least I get the webcam.
I will miss my magazine in the morning if they take it away.

Re: Railspot Rarity #7
Maps from 1899 to 1903 indicate the projected eastward extension of the TC was aimed at
Beaumont and Sabine Pass instead of New Orleans. By 1906 no extensions were projected
on the published TC maps.

Re: Soumethun siding (Dallas) in 1958
Not sure about delivering coal but possibly.
Rice University once had a spur off the SA&AP for that purpose.

H&TC Official Car "Dallas"
Quite a rarity! I think there was a later car named "Dallas" as well.

I thought I saw at least one in Wichita Falls, so I’ve went digging through my videos and found some I shot on 26 March 1998 of Amtrak 61 & 43 [A951 (25)], with 30 of Amtrak’s boxcars (all three

Re: South Plains Lamesa Railroad
I recall the original shortline after Santa Fe spun it off. We were driving back from
Albuquerque in the early to mid 1990s and stopped at Lamesa.
There was a Santa Fe Geep parked by the depot/office
