Trick or Treat book special
texaszephyr
I have six copies of my "Passenger Trains of Texas - Rock Island" book that have extremely minor bumped corners on the book cover. All are still shrink wrapped but experienced minor damage during shipping. Other than the minor bumped corners there is nothing else wrong with them.
As a result I'm offering these for only $45.00 each and that includes shipping and sales tax. Please keep in mind that there are only six copies. If interested please contact me direct off list and reserve a copy. These are NOT listed on my website. Payment: Personal check or money order only. No credit cards and no PayPal. When these six are spoken for that's it. The list price is $59.95 plus $6.00 shipping, plus 8.25% state sales tax. So here a way to save $26.39. Please contact me direct at texaszephyr@sw.rr.com if you want one of these slightly bumped books. TZ

Re: Galveston Tower A
It is in N scale. The model is 2 3/16" x 1 3/4" x 2" tall. But it could be printed in other scales.

All MoPac power was non dynamic with the exception of the SD40-2 units purchased for coal train service. The units they got from C&EI had the dynamics disabled when merged into the fleet. SPfan

I have it as Ex-UPB 4133, nee-MP 3133. MoPac SD40-2 were built without dynamic brakes. I would have to look it up but I think I rode behind that unit with its MP number in UP paint on Amtrak 2 the Sunset Limited. It was picked up in El Paso after one of our Amtrak units, an F40PH, belched out all its cooling water in Arizona.

Typical MoPac Jenks Blue with Screaming Eagle on long hood and Buzzsaw on cab with Missouri Pacific Lines in the buzzsaw. Small TP sublettering underneath the buzzsaw usually to the left side. SPfan

T&P 834 was an SD40-2 purchased by MoPac and had a small TP under the Buzzsaw on the cab. SPfan
