HUGO -- This town's excursion train is about to roll

financial backing from Kiamichi Railroad,
then owned by Jack Hadley, it was a successful
operation. With the railroad's sale to
States Rail, the subsidy no longer exists, Pence said.

The historical society has found no organization or
individual willing to underwrite the
operation, Pence said.
