For sale is a complete N guage Empire. Located in Tuscola, IL., this layout is the work of a very dedicated model railroader over a period of several years. He passed away leaving his estate to dispose of the layout. The entire layout, over 300 pieces of rolling stock, over 50 engines, plus all the buildings, extra scenery, vehicles, people, extra parts and power supplies is for sale as a single unit. When you buy it you get it all. You must disassemble and move the layout and all it's associated equipment. The layout has a two track main that runs down four 16' islands and across the backside of the layout for a distance of approx 30'. All track is nickle silver Atlas and the turnouts are all manual using ground throws. The Railroad is DC powered using the block system. However it would be an easy conversion to DCC. There are walkaround throttle positions through-out the layout. The scenery is 80% completed on three of the four island with the fourth having just track and roadbed.
