See email from the Feds below! Your input has made a concrete difference -- two more weeks to get your proposals written and submitted! And this IS a confirmation that the Feds are listening and trying to help you -- within the many constraints of the Federal fiscal year and rules for different pots of money, procurement regulations, etc.
This gives me hope that, after the bids are awarded, the Feds will be able to make additional modifications AS NEEDED in order to ASSURE SUCCESS and justify the taxpayer’s investment of $100 million in this effort!
So get to work, put SOME words to paper, come up with plausible descriptions of how you will comply with their requirements, your strategy to accomplish the various tasks and your explanation for what you have done so far and why it will take you a while to get final answers to some of the hard questions. Tell them you will define things more tightly and verify your assumptions once you get the money! Then get people to sign it, and then SEND SOMETHING IN.
