Using Quickscript

Jon Zuck <frimmin@...>

OK, you all know I'm new to using Quickscript, you all have much more experience than me.  Let me ask--do any of you personally use any joins or alternate forms besides those in QM or CFPB?

To me, it seems that Gig can be joined from below or above.  A loop going into it from the top short line or the bottom short line to connect with the top part of the letter at the right can't be confused with anything else.  Also,  I discovered a possible alternate letter (for private written use, of course, not for the proposal) for Loll.  I experimented today with using the backwards Loll (p8, QM) to as an alternate form drawn from the top down.  Worked pretty well.

Are there any other tips?

I don't believe I use any joins or alternate forms not listed in QM. I
have tried to avoid deviation so as to preserve the "purity" of my
Quikscript writing in isolation against the hope that someone else would
express some interest. And lo, my prayers were answered!

I join Gig at the top, bottom or both depending on the letter preceding and
following.
