I also have a problem with QSI
John Burkhardt
I only just now came back to all the Yahoo Groups that I was active on some years ago – I left due to technical problems with the bulk of email vs. available airtime, etc.
I tried to make contact with Josh Shedaker and Pat Quinn with no success as I have a Rev and a Titan that need repairs and I cant find an address and procedure to send them States side for repairs as I’ve tried every trick I know or had suggested on this list to bring them back to life.
Has anyone had the need recently to have a QSI decoder repaired, and if so what did you do?
Thanks and regards,

Don’t feel bad, John. Nobody gets an answer from these people.
I have two Titans in need of repair. Rather than deal with trying to contact QSI Solutions for repair instructions, I would just as soon buy new decoders. But I can’t find them for sale, and the dealers I have talked to have no stock and nothing good to say about this company. I am wireless G-scale. I have three new engines that have been waiting for months for QSI “Solutions” to produce the radio receiver. Not only has it not been forthcoming, they are utterly silent with respect to “contact us” requests as to when it might show up. And even if I could get the receiver, I can’t find the decoders for sale. Whoever came up with the “Titan” decoder and its attendant computer interface is nothing short of a genius. The product is damn near perfect in terms of functionality and configurability. This is why I want to buy more of them. But somewhere between 2012 and now something went radically wrong with the sales and service operation. From what I can tell, it simply doesn’t exist. “QSI Solutions”, silent as the Sphinx, represents itself to be the marketing end of “QSI Industries”, the creator of the product. “QSI Industries” has not updated its webpage since 2013. That might give you some idea of the force behind this product. Without a doubt, ours is a niche market with fickle demand, so you can’t expect titans of industry to be supplying product. (I’m amazed there’s as much out there as there is.) But no matter how good the product is, and the ‘Titan” is a great product, it doesn’t do me a damned bit of good if I can’t buy it or use it. In short, I am pretty fed up with “QSI Solutions” and its lack of customer service. Gilbert R. I'm wondering if a call to the Better Business Bureau might be in order?

Thanks Kelly for your positive response hence, while an option, I deem it not necessary to taking this outside the parties and rather hammer away till one gets a response, although it may take a couple of months<SG>
I’ve had a mail from Josh advising that he needs to know what I want to send for repair and that on receipt he would send me an RMA. To help you in your efforts to “doing everything we can to make ourselves more accessible” I will send you off list copies of my correspondence from when I reported this first to see where I gone wrong – used wrong emails, etc as was suggested.
