Hi, I've got a HO Proto 2k with a Quantun factory decoder.   I can't seem to get the rear (cab end) head  lite to go on at all (works on DC) while the front works fine. Also, how do I increase the sound master volume? Sound works but VERY quiet.   Did some internet searches but  nothing worked.  I use a Digitrax  DCS 210 w/a programming track.  Thanks, Bill Woelfel

Hi Ferenc;
Programming them should be no different than the Titan-U boards. I can send  you the most recent CVManager, and a wiring pinout if you need one. I am in the process of making a plug in unit that will give you a visual indication as well.  Contact me off list at qsindustries224@....

Hi All,

I got two Titan FX-DO decoders which work perfect in my G scale SD45s and are readily available, unlike the Titan G scale decoders. However, programming them is not the same but there is no manual.

I was wondering if anybody uses these in O scale locos which have a programming manual? I am trying to remap light finctions from one output pin of the decoder, using the QSI Programmer, to another pin, but no success with the same method as with the G scale decoders :-(

Also, I was wondering if lighing functions can be grouped with the FX-DO as they could be with the G scale decoders?

Thanks for any info,

Ferenc

Is QS Industries gone now too?

Ben Martin

I sent QS Industries an email about 10 days ago and haven't gotten a response. No big deal, no rush, but when I tried calling them a couple times over the last week it went straight to voicemail both times. This just made me wonder if anything has happened to QS. Anyone have any info?

Light functions for revolution A

Roger Kujawa

Hello everyone.

I have a QSI revolutionized an Proto Alco S1

Right now both headlights are on with function 0 turned off.

I would like the front headlight to be on in forward whether moving or not and off in reverse. I would like the reverse light to be on in reverse whether moving or not and off in forward. Can anyone tell me what numbers to put in the CV’s to make this happen? Is there a table that would give me options for what to put in the cv’s? Thanks.
Roger.

Gentlemen:

I finally got pointed in the right direction and can see the photo. It has the newer ASIC on board, so Its probably a Q2 or Q2-FX.  Some where on the board, in the white silkscreen should be a number that starts with 050.
That number will tell me exactly what schematic and layout to look at.

All, I did hear from Kelly back channel. All is good. Thanks, Rick.

I too will say the Kelly has been extremely helpful after I enquired about a Revo repair - its on its way back to QSI after a couple emails off list with Kelly so support and service definitely is working.
I also have the time zone thing to contend with as in Australia but it all happened in less than 36hrs or so. Not entirely sure why some people are having such issues, perhaps white/black list filters at their ISP, junk filtering, who knows as far too many variables involved.

Cheers

Simon

Rick,

Why not go old school and place a phone call to QSI?

Pete, This has nothing at all about "feelings". Very simple questions, availability, how to purchase, and cost. Could not be any simpler. Why emails don't make it to the right place ? or are not answered, I have no idea. That is somebody else's problem. Without communication and solid support makes no sense to purchase. I am a fan of the Titan but must move on.Rick.

While everybody is clear about your feelings, email problems between indivisuals have nothing to do with Yahoo Group's or any glitches that happen on Yahoo Groups.

It was not the QSI solutions website, I know the difference. It appeared to be the "official" QSI website, but may be not ??

Hi Kelly, Somehow the emails I think I am sending to you are just going into cyber space ?? I suspect the email address is not quite right but they are not  bouncing back? Same questions price and procedure to get Titans. Rick.
