Hmmmm... That’s a puzzler.
My first thought was that it sounded like Phoenix or Soundtrax decodersthat can be set to trigger the crossing signal sequence whenever you speed upabove a threshold

Bill,
Yes, did mean diode (and not another relay). Thanks for giving Eric the tech info behind it.
Bill, I have O scale (2 rail) Atlas F 3 with a factory QSI decoder, I guess it was made about 2009.

Chuff input OEM decoders
On the V7 OEM decoders (the ones with the big removable chip), is there a chuff input? If so, where?
Also, can anyone tell me the size of the 2-pin JST plugs/sockets?
Thanks

It looks like the only high current output is for the motors -- max 2 Amps stall.
The remaining function outputs are only 100 ma, i.e. LED current.
You could install a small solid-state relay, where

I've wired smoke units in G scale using the Large Scale Titan decoder. Now I'm getting ready to put a Titan U into an HO scale engine. I'm not seeing anything in the Titan U installation

Sam, I suspect that (unless you just made the CD yourself (using the latest files from the download site) your CD has older versions of the software.

OK, never saw he sold a version of the Titan with the pins cut off.. I stand corrected. Although since I bought the remaining stock, and they all have pins on them, it's kind of a moot point.
