I have a Convertr, but since it provides the power input, it isn’t adequate to run a G-scale Bachmann 3-truck Shay.
But it is a valid solution for a smaller engine.

Use an Airwire Convertr with it instead of the G-wire. You don’t need to
change any CVs, and you have access to all 17 Airwire frequencies.
