I know there was a post but I can’t find it now?

Just finished a 20 Mini, and I did all five toroids with the wire in the main body of the kit…never touched the roll in the band filter bag.  I think I had about a foot left.  

Last time and recent I think something like less than a foot did both windings orf T1.

Or use some thin hookup wire and place it like you were building the real thing
and then take it out and measure.
