Stacked Cooling Solution for QXC/QDX ?
I just ordered one of these - it should work out for my QDX / QCX radios and my Quadra :)

Nice find! Let us know how it works out. I’ve been fighting with SketchUp to build a better cooling solution for my Quadra, and just started an 18 hour print. Hopefully it’s better than the one that Inovata provides, which was a quick print and easily assembled, but doesn’t really direct the airflow at all.

I just ordered a Noctua fan to quiet down my TM-V71A running in our single room cabin as a BPQ node. It is noisy enough to bother my wife and I at night; I can only imagine what noise that behemoth of a Pi cooling rack would put out. Maybe a cup of water sitting on the QDX 5v regulator would be a good passive solution. haha. Joshua |

lol, I contemplated 'Peltier devices', a mini refrigeration unit but then also like the 'natural-derivative' of your cup of water idea - 'Water-Cooling' with an 'aquarium-pump' and copper-pipe?

I think a Squirrel Cage Fan on the back would work wonders................. -) Lee KX4TT On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, 12:38:52 PM EST, ve3ega <ve3ega@...> wrote: lol, I contemplated 'Peltier devices', a mini refrigeration unit but then also like the 'natural-derivative' of your cup of water idea - 'Water-Cooling' with an 'aquarium-pump' and copper-pipe? ummm... |
