QCX mini (20m) parts

Randy

Just received my QCX-mini (20m) kit.

It came with the microcontroller labeled T1.09, but I see the current firmware is T1.09a. The Firmware History indicates the “a” rev only effects 160m operation. Is that why my 20m kit doesn’t have it?

The 20m LPF instructions call for C30 to be 30pf. I don’t find one of those in the kit, but there is a 33pf cap that isn’t used elsewhere. Is 33pf intended for 20m?

Tnx es 73,

Hi Randy

The difference between 1.09 and 1.09a is only for 160m operation. 1.09 is fine for you.

The latest kit batch use 33pF not 30pF. It's fine. Close enough. I need to update the manual...

Thanks for the super fast response, Hans! This is my 2nd QCX-mini (first was for 40m) and I’m looking forward to the build and operation!
