CAT Cable for 40m QCX...

Good morning everyone!
I've written before about a CAT cable for use on QCX. I understand I need a TTL level cable. Amazon has one that has 5 volts USB to 3.5mm stereo plug. My question is: Can I use this cable that has a FTDI chip in it? The one you listed Mark is a non-RS-232 cable.?? You need an RS-232 cable.?? You can get one from Elecraft that is ready to go, or from Mouser or Digikey with pigtails at the serial end.
