Greetings from Mexico, I finished my QCX for 40 meters and it worked on 
the first attempt,

as soon as I finished the alignment,
 I could hear a station calling CQ in Arizona USA, I answered the call and he answered me immediately with an 
RST 589 !

Its an enjoyable rig indeed, and the alignment is a nice experience. My QCX is also on 40m, enjoy your radiations.

Congratulations Pedro. 
Like you my QCX 40m worked first time. I have had hundreds of QSO's and although I have commercial radios my QCX is is my radio of choice.
