Hi John, Changing the value from 20 to 23 in menu will not alter output power at all, to adjust power you would either have to increase pa bias or increase the pa voltage. Andy

Hi Stephan, The counting is simply because the time has not been set in the menu, I assume you are not using the gps? As for power, this could be a number of things, check that you have it biased prop

If I remember correctly it is possible to have a calibration sequence after each tx slot. I THINK that if a wspr transmission slot is set at 2 minutes and a calibration of 50 seconds is used it should

U3S with added BS170's still on 5V.
My u3s has 3 bs170's at 5v, I have no problem getting to Tasmania or South Pole with it. Power out is around 1w on 7mhz, running at lower voltage and bias only just increasing current has resulted in

Ultimate3S troubleshooting
Hi Steve, it may be the light but the solder joints on the bs170 look as if they could do with reflowing , particularly the gate. I don't think your too far away from a working unit. Good luck Andy
