Andy, Daniel, Ctrl-X and Esc also do not work. It’s the same with my wife’s iBook pro, so not my keyboard, more likely a Mac thing. I’ll try Linux and Windows in a couple of days. 73 John M0JBA

Alan, You’re right it is Ctrl-Q but that does not exit either. The windows key + Q quits the terminal completely without benefit of the applications menu. 73 John M0JBA
