QCXmini 20m can't set IQ balance, not receiving signals.

Yes ^^^^ I did not mean to say don't start with measuring the DC voltages. Definitely do! If you don't feel like doing any troubleshooting, just buy a few NE5532's at your favorite vendor and replace

Check the troubleshooting video in my sig below, and also check Hans' own QCX troubleshooting video. If you're not getting any noise and no oscillator audio, then IC8/9/10 are suspect. It'll take some

A word of advice
I too think that there is merit to jumping in the deep end- but only to a point. I've been soldering on things since I was about 10 years old- not consistently, not good at it-, but doing it. Somebody

#qcxmini
Hey Dan, Congrats on the fix! Fantastic! Yes I had C11 that was too low as well, and so I'm glad my little trick there was able to help. These sure are neat little radios.

I'm sure others will chime in, but sounds to me like you've found the culprit. I'd check R35 and its path to 5v, and also check that R34 is intact, and that there is continuity where it should be (and

I agree with you on this one, Fred. The shotgun approach to this issue is probably the simplest way to solve it, save for the more difficult soldering.

I replaced *just* IC7 and had no issues with IQ balance. That would suggest that your IC7 was not working.

Inductor Toroid Pics For Higher Power Output
Typically you don't have to mess with the number of turns on a 40m. Even on my 20m, I just had to move the windings around a bit to get 5W. You can even do it while transmitting. Just use a plastic or
