QDX V1 with case $100 ppd QCX mini 17M with case $100 ppd WA4DT

QDX R2 arrived yesterday. Put the thru hole components in Monday evening and coils this afternoon. Fired it up tonight with old laptop, but W10. Initially would not play with ancient version of WSJT-X

Last night I used my 40 meter QSX+ with 50 watt amp in the three CW contests on 40. I installed the AGC board I bought from Electron Volt the previous week from the UK. Good instructions and all done

I cannot find the screws that attach the end plates to case halves on my mini....no BOM for the case. Anybody know so I can order on ebay ? This is my fourth mini first version 2-works fine and on WSP

I have an early QCX+ that had this problem....after 4 hours on WSPR audio became distorted and that was it. I changed several components, but always after 4 hours no go. Cold spray would bring it back

I got mine on Amazon and it worked just fine.

I did 1.01a with Pickit2....absolutely not difficulty. I had been hesitant to try, but after that first one I then did other 10 I had squirreled away.

Several weeks ago I built a mini and upon power up all it did was motorboat. My counter was inop so I waited until the new one arrived. This morning I finally got around to having a look. All voltages

That was the first thing I did was re do the TCXO. No luck....not worth fooling with. Think I will just wait and see what the second batch looks like....

I finished my mini...all it does is motorboat. In alignment no tone but motorboat gets louder. In unaligned keyer works along with sidetone and motor boat. Display and volume are fine. Don’t see anyth

Nice to hear you received your mini....still waiting on 40750 shipped from MO on 12-19 and so far nothing. USPS service has gone down hill recently. Last month I bought something and was shipped USPS

I bought cheap Arduino GPS module with serial to USB adapter on Ebay. Using Visual GPS s/w and it works well indoors. Normally I see 5 satellites all the time. Dirk WA4DT

For your entrance into the kit building world just build it and not worry about an enclosure. After you get it working then buy another and put it in a box. It's a 49 dollar radio. Dirk Tanis WA4DT
