Hi Mike, Great build! It looks like the fuse settings are incorrect, resulting in setting XCK clock output on enable pin 6. If you program with Arduino IDE, simply run a "Burn bootloader", or program

Si5351: P1, P2, P3, what's it really all about?
Sorry Phil, I misread your question, so my answer does not make sense, and please reject my previous email. It is a good question what happens for value in between 128 for P2, no idea...never tried.

Si5351: P1, P2, P3, what's it really all about?
Hi Phil, My understanding is that this allowed and works. as it meets the criteria that "a+b/c has a valid range of 15 + 0/1,048,575 and 90" [AN619 p.3 par. 3.2]. A zero in b means that there is no fr

Hi Scot, Yes, if you have a QCX already built you can still run the original SSB mod (without removing half of the components). It also works on as Rev 5 board. To do so make the following changes: SS

Ryan, very good progress on your QCX-SSB and happy to read you got the transmit section working. Your temporary enclosure looks pretty nice actually! Not seeing RX side-band rejection can be caused by

Yes! These special characters need some additional effort to make them uploaded to the OLED. Do you see the encoder skip when tuning the frequency (or only in menu)?

Hi Ryan, These resistors may also be 75K, you lose 0.7dB sensitivitity which is probably fine. It is most important that that two resistors are the same. Maybe I am colorblind but on your picture I se

All, Note with R1.02c there a bug with the CW offset not being stored well. Manuel, DL2MAN just told me about this; so if you have downloaded R1.02c please download it again because I have fixed it. .

Hi Dean, Is there a LCD issue with R1.02b? The R1.02b ino file is on just the regular QCX-SSB.ino file. I am very much interested with the enclosure, congrats with the build.

Hi Hans, On the github there are instruction for the earlier Rev4 and also work on earlier models: https://github.com/threeme3/QCX-SSB The Rev 4 and 5 circuit is exactly the same, so no differences.
