QDX Simple one page instruction sheet for firmware upgrade
Hi Alan Thanks for those final clarifications. It's amazing how these small details escape you if not used regularly. Got it working OK and I think it's in 1.07! I'll try to remember how to get putty

Hi Alan I'm OK up to here.... QDX is then a memory stick. Open it in File Explorer. Where in file explorer do I find it? Sorry if I'm being really dense! Mike

New QDX build current draw questions.
#qdx
I think you'll find that 100ma RX current was typical of early versions. After the various updates I would suggest from what I've seen in recent posts that 150ma is more typical now

QDX - TX only starts via Terminal Emulator
Evan Thanks for the feedback. Yes I was aware of the need to maximise audio levels from manual & previous posts. However I had'nt needed to do this earlier so hadn't been looking in that direction. No

QDX TX current in spec/slightly above on one band only.
Hi Alan, Evan Apologies for having taken up your time with this enquiry. I have now downgraded myself to "Newbie" having committed one of the basic kit building sins (I believe the photo says it all).

I finally killed my Rev 1 QDX!
Here's the promised photo of the substitution in the Rev 1 Mini. Difficult to see exactly what is happening, but no sign of any scraping! Unfortunately my memory of last year's actions is hazy at best
