QCX-Mini Alignment Issues
Well if you had alignment, and it vanishes - to me this implies there is a mechanical change - either a solder joint on an alignment pot or in the audio path. this radio is 'analog' so it has to be so

Idle hands: BPF -> LPF, blasphemy?
Very nice Al, even on the official board. I don't know what use you in mind, as for u3s maybe there is room to have capacitors on the bottom, I literally don't know. I built my own filter test jig, I

20m Antenna for QCX-Mini
FYI these last emails describe an efhw to handle 100 watts. If the application is only qrp portable, there are excellent designs on the web that use a coil about half that diameter. Curt

QCX Anonymous?
Flawless? Almost disgusting for us mortals, but nice you've had practice. Good therapy is to stock up for homebrew projects, restore vintage rigs, put those QCX on the air, perhaps add a qcx PA. Enjoy

80 Meter Mini T1 Transformer
Very Cool, nice to resolve. Some qcx have experienced battle damage due to surgery on T1 hence my prior caution. Maybe we should tally the total toroid turns we have each accomplished, I recall a lot

Will U3S transmit 30M APRS Packet or Pactor?
Mike Well U3S consists only of a PLL, a mosfet and a microcontroller. It does not have an audio or IF interface. Also it cannot receive, so if protocol involves receiving an acknowledgement, it can't

Drok buck question
I agree that looks cute, but I wonder if it has enough filtering for ham radio use. Has someone compared receive performance to verify they can copy the same weak signals with this power supply as a n

Neat QCX pocket antenna
George nice work! perhaps for 20m you mean 33 feet, not 38 feet? or if you did need 38 feet it may be because you had this end portion close to the ground? I know this from half wave vertical antennas
