QCX Mini Mounting of the BNC-Connectir
I may be barking up the wrong tree, but, in the assembly manua(P21)l it does state that there may be a strip of PCB at one end that may need to be broken off. Although I read this it was not until I w

Successful assembly of QCX mini 40
Hi Johan, my 40m QCX mini build went exactly as yours did, bezel tab and electrolytic, locking tab on vol pot. My power started at about 3W, spreading the turns out raised it to 5.2W at 12v same as yo

surely you need to connect WO to W1 irrespective of which way round you have the boards. the idea is to have all the resistors in parallel to equal 50 ohms.

The contrast pin on the lcd is usually pin 3 and should show a varying voltage between 5v and 0v when you turn the pot

judging by the messages from Avrdude, I would say you have successfully loaded the firmware, your problems if it does not appear to work lie elsewhere. always eliminate the obvious first, think logica

having just looked at your video, forget using voltages below 12v as this will only confuse matters. check for sidetone at sidetone pad9(one end of R59) - should be 700hz

Have you got the encoder switch connected to the right pads on the main PCB, sounds to me that you haven’t. Others have built this with no problem, must be something you have done, don’t blame the kit
