To get more bands visible increase the txs parameter in the menu to say 6, ser start to 00 10, this will give you a wspr tx every 10 minutes 6 times an hour.

Re: 50W HF QCX Power Amplifier kit T1 Winding direction
Hi Jim,
For both the T1 and T2 the clockwise direction is fine. If you look again at p. 17, you could also imagine the clockwise winding of T1.

Re: NEW QDX Build - "USB Device Not Recognized"
Howard,
The driver is not installed.
There are instructions on the QDX page, here is my updated write-up

NEW QDX Build - "USB Device Not Recognized"
I'm getting "USB Device Not Recognized" & "Unknown Device," but it says that my drivers are up-to-date. I've switched cables, USB ports, turned OFF/ON, ON/OFF, re-started WSJT, etc. It powers up OK

Well I fell into the dial frequency trap. I’ll change that today. I bet that’s the issue because I do have output I can see from another radio.
I do have the GPS module installed for timing.

For a standard toroid (NOT "torpid") transformer, wire size and characteristics don't matter. They just need to fit on the core.
For transmission-line transformers. wire size and especially wire

Mark,
As I understand it, the wire size shouldn't change impedance or inductance for that matter.
Actually the smaller wire size might give you more range if you want to expand/compress turns in a

One other potential gotcha with WSPR is the frequency you transmit on… you must program the U3S for the actual frequency and not get caught out by the “dial frequency” (like I did!).

I tested them in circuit but did not trust the results. You motivated me to remove the BS107's and test externally. Sure enough, the last one I tested was bad. Replaced it and am back up to full
