If you aren't intending to use the telemetry it would really be best to modify the program... Instead of using the TELE command use WSPR (see manual for how to specify the parameters).

QDX can receive SSB and CW just fine. However the audio passband is fixed at 150Hz to 3.2kHz which may be wide for SSB and certainly is for CW.
