Paul, go ahead and try the factory reset next. Be sure to reset the Reference Frequency to 25,000,000 since you have the TCXO.

Evan,
Good suggestion. Will add the vent holes later today. Had also planned to provide a top without any inscribed letters (ON/PWR/etc.). My printer needs some tuning after sitting for 6 months and

Re: A toroid winding question
These work great. Wind the toroid, draw down on the lead, rotate 90 degrees, draw down again. Done.

Hi Robert,
I assume you meant that the open circuit voltage of the battery was 7.2V. Let me know if that assumption is incorrect.
If hooking it up to the QCX caused the battery output to drop to 3.93V

Thanks for the feedback.
Yes I was aware of the need to maximise audio levels from manual & previous posts. However I had'nt needed to do this earlier so hadn't been looking in that direction.

Thanks for the heads up on the case.
That’s good to know. My 3D printer is being delivered Wednesday. I already have lots of projects for it and this is another one.

Re: 3d printable case for QRPGuys Power/SWR + Dummy load
Looks good, but I would add ventilation holes around the dummy load resistors. Add the ventilation or keep it to short transmissions and lower power when using the dummy load.

Re: 3d printable case for QRPGuys Power/SWR + Dummy load
That is nice! I printed a simple base to electrically insulate my dummy load from the bench. I didn’t want to take the time to make the top side. I will have to give it a try.
