If D1 cathode is at 4.6V, IC1 is probably already dead :-(

IC2 Pin 28 to JP6 pin 1 checks at zero ohms
IC2 Pin 27 to JP6 pin 2 checks at zero ohms
D1 Cathode measures 4.6v

Hi Mark. The issue with the Si5351 Error needs to be handled first. With power off, use your ohm meter to check for continuity between IC2 Pin 28 and JP6
Pin 1. Also check for continuity between IC2

Disregard the last. It does save the freq cal, just not the clock, which I dont need anyway for basic cw work.

Bryan, you do need to connect the sleeve to ground on the paddle side. It is normal for the rig to tx briefly and that’s why Hans recommends putting rig in “practice” mode.
