My QCX-mini has been very forgiving regarding the headset in use. I tried several cheap ones. I made a stereo jack to mono plug adapter so I would not worry about shorting something when inserting and

Thanks for the advice.
I had finally devoted some time to diagnose the problem. Checked the gating voltages as indicated - they worked appropriately for 20/30, 40, and 80.

Yes Bill another promised LIE for the M$ Corp. =( Free update .... not saying that they will write in different parameters for system operating system to use new resources only found on new hardware

I have a dozen or so SMA attenuators I bought for 6 to 10 dollars each on ebay. See image below:
They are rated to 6 GHz, and rated power is 2 watts. I haven't swept every one over the full 6 GHz

MJ, Congratulations on the successful build!
As Alan stated, the sweeps only work well with a 50ohm dummy load connected to the antenna. The filters need to be terminated in their design impedance.

Michael, 4--5 watts on all bands is the norm when built for and running at 12 volts. No need to change any inductors. I agree with Alan on just lowering the voltage if concerned. I'm running my 12

Ernie, in addition to what Mike said, the RF meter is only for temporary use. You can't leave it connected all the time or it might cause issues like excessive harmonics, etc. It's OK to leave the DVM
