That's correct. In separating VFO A and B up to 750Hz apart, I hear the tone pitch appear (say from a low tone to a high tone) several times across that frequency span. I'm not sure what that

Get the U3S working on its own. Then get the LPFs setup.

Hallo Brad, check that all the welds have been done well, and that there is no short in the welds in the U3S pcb and ulpf relay group nearby, check the voltage cables well if they have been welded
