qcx 40 low power high heat high current
#40m
My first post as I just acquired a built qcx 40 m and trying to trouble shoot the problem I'm having. Receiver seems to work great. On transmit I get a nice sounding tone as heard in outboard

Shane,
The 'Ultimate3S QRSS/WSPR kit' is what I just purchased, so I bet it's the same thing you're referring to. I love running WSPR in the background while I'm working all day and hate putting

Thanks, Hans,
Then I'd like to keep it as it is- I want to be able to try contacts withe everyone at QRP one time, then with the 50 Watt PA on a different day with everyone at the higher power

Hi Tim,
Great to hear from you. I can send you a direct E-mail with all the parts sources at Amazon, if you prefer to buy them and have them on hand. I decided to do so myself, as I plan to build more

Remember that an attenuator in the aerial line will be effective on TX and RX.

Daniel, I was also amazed at how well my 40 meter QCX+ receiver works. It competes with rigs costing several thousand dollars. When I tested it to see if it would receive I was picking up European

QCX 40 RX is great.
I have been using my QCX 40 since spring with great pleasure. Listening to the Sweepstakes mania just now, I was reminded how selective and bombproof it is. Tuning along each signal popped out clean

It's only a simple two-sided board. You can add jumper wires to the FET as needed according to the schematic diagram in the manual.

By coincidence I was reading a copy of Short Wave Magazine from 1939 - the last edition before WWII. It gives the result of a QRP competition (OK, "test"). It's the most delightful of articles

Progrock Si5351 Pin 14
I have been having problems getting my progrock to talk to the Si5351 board and I’ve narrowed down the problem to having lifted the pad for pin 14 which is one of the data lines. Is there any way to

Re: 1PPS issue on QLG1
Shane,
Thank you so much for the offers of help you provided! I found that almost all the pins on the RF chip are shorted to the ground plane, so I'm now very suspect of the viability of the board.
