Re: CW beacon
Yes but it's not nice to make someone feel he can have a QSO and then nothing.
For me, TEST is for contests, so it's another thing.

Re: CW beacon
I've never heard of adding BEACON, but I think I have heard of adding TEST. At any rate, even if someone responds to your CQ you don't have to have a qso with them.

CW beacon
Hello,
I'm quite new to CW and still learning, even though I've already assembled a QCX+.
I tested yesterday Reverse Beacon by sending my call with that message (stored as a message in the QCX+).

Re: QCX TROUBLESHOOTING
Can you disconnect the secondary of T1 to check that 2.5V bias voltage? I don't know if the IC it feeds is passing that bias voltage to the circuitry to its right (on the schematic) but I suspect

Re: Battery level indicator settings ??
Hello Ronald,
Thank you for your answer. Anyway, as I've the well measured voltage in the menu 9 (alignement), I guess that the divider is OK. For me, the battery level displayed is taking this value

Re: QCX+ : how to make the inside space profitable ? (project in progress)
First version !
It's a bit too tight to install in the box. I've modified it and I print it again today. I'll let you know when the design will be OK.

Adrien, maybe you should check your solder connections in the area of R56 and R57. These resistors make up the voltage divider in order to provide the correct level into the microcontroller. Check for

Battery level indicator settings ??
Hello,
I've just finished my QCX+ and I am struggling with battery display indicator.
I use a lithium battery I can see on the QCX it is 11.98V (on 12.6V max).
So I've well jumpered the DVM and +12V

Re: QCX TROUBLESHOOTING
Dave,
Good stuff! That voltage divider is worrisome.
I am in Vail AZ, about 5 hours West of you on I10. I'd be happy to come out your way and bring my test equipment scope, dvm, LCR meter, spectrum
