Hi Robert. On your second issue, please refer to pages 100 and 101 of the manual where it tells how to either modify a standard stereo cord or the QCX+ key output so amplifier keying will work

Yes, my 350g figure includes radio, paddle, antenna, headphones, cables, carrying bag, etc. (BNC connectors and RG-58 are heavy, so I don't use them!)

You can paint it yourself. Start with an etch primer to key the surface then use an acrylic synthetic enamel like Plastikote. They do a range called twist and spray that's widely available including

I asked Hans' opinion on whether the case supplier could manage that option. I didn't suggest that Hans gets involved in manufacture or supply of coloured cases in anyway.
