Upgrading firmware on the QCX to Ver 1.05 ....where is the .hex file
Finally received my USBISP AVR programmer and would like to upgrade from a previous firmware level. Where does Hans have the .hex file available ? I am using AVRDUDESS 2.12 program for a loader.

Hi Mike:
Yeah, I'm no good at that video stuff either. Anyway, the C book is:
Beginning C for Arduino, 2nd edition, by Jack Purdum
(I know him personally!) Make sure you get the 2nd edition...it's

QCX+ wishlist
It seems to me that a wire bail, so that the case can be tilted upwards for easier viewing, would be a useful addition to the list of options for the QCX+.

Hi Jack,
You and I are on the same page concerning SMD components. I programmed PLC's for a living for about 25 years (then they put me in manglement and ruined my life :D ) but for some reason

Darren,
I support Don's recommendation; they're a great bunch, very helpful. I have two amateur radio forum memberships: this one and that one. Make sure you bring your straight key

Well the good thing is that it's operational. I went to both the RBN & Websdr and both picked up on a signal. On the few that picked up, they were around 500-600 miles away. I'm guessing that's not to

Darren,

Re: Two possible improvements for the QCX/QCX+
How about a USB-C port and built in sink circuit, so a Power Delivery battery bank can plug into it directly? I plan to do that with a couple of my QRP rigs. I just have a smart cable adapter at this
