Hi Hans While you are responding about feature wish list, I posted previously an idea about adding a menu option that if a GPS is connected then it could append lat/long coordinates to a beacon

This is simply a diagnostic test. Looking for a 'bad' component. Not to be used to be connected to any antenna.

Bypassing an inductor with a wire link may increase the output by a small amount but it will then be including all harmonics. It is more likely that you have a construction issue

What IF you replaced a toroid with a jumper? Do you get 'better power'? You can remove/test any cap, too and see if that adjusts your output. Just don't 'test' for too long. de NT1G P.S. DUMMY LOAD

The enameled wire that I got with my QCX Kit is the same diameter as 28 AWG enameled wire that I have on a spool from Remington. Checked with dial calipers. Ken, KM4NFQ
