Hans can get a small parcel posted in Japan to me in less time than the Royal Mail can get one delivered

As I recall they did need some gentle persuasion to achieve the first turn. It wasn't troublesome, though.

Just to make sure we are all on the same page (as is said).
We already have 6 "bandstop positions" in the VFO, that control 6 processor pins, which control 6 relays and switch 6 Low Pass

I've never tried that because those that know say shorted turns on a core will make it useless.
A way I use is to unsolder one end, unwrap a turn or two and reconnect. The loop outside the core

Most good hardwares have metric nuts and bolts, at least they do here in northern Michigan. M3 is a metric size.
