Re: U3S15 balloon alive
Hey Jim, I have to head out to the store for a bit this morning, but I'll drop the frequency another 50 hz to 14.095.500 before I go. The frequency shift seems to have slowed down; it was around 12

Re: S3 seems to work, but no spots
Hazada
As you are 34 miles from N6PAA I guess you are not to far from Sacramento.
If you look at the wsprnet.org map you can see for the different bands what stations close to you are hearing and who

Re: U3S15 balloon alive
Set again for 15 seconds.
Maybe too weak for me yet.
13:20 will be next, maybe will get lucky and it will lock in again.
Not sure the maximum altitude on the Ublox NEO-7m`s.
Was only expecting 9600m on

Re: U3S15 balloon alive
Still at 15 seconds, got some good signals now. Checked the 30m waterfall periodically, just usual activity.

I see it now,1400hz...going lower each cycle.
This is going to be a tough flight.

Re: U3S15 balloon alive
At the 1406 hz mark on this round (20m WSPR). I'll drop the frequency a bit after this last decode.

Re: U3S15 balloon alive
Looks like you got it Vern as did I.
Great stuff !!
The flight has taken altitudes I did not expect.Maybe the Ublox NEO-7m does not like the altitude.
Hope it locks in eventually.
