Al, Thanks for the very kind offer, but the post delay is actually between Sydney and the “the bush”, not so much the rest of the world and Sydney. It’s no problem me ordering some 0.33mm, I’m just keen to get it on air and not wait a few more weeks.
I’ll order some of the correct size but try the 0.25 while I’m waiting. My concern was the change in impedance the wire size will make, and if it’s significant enough that tweaking the winding spacing wouldn’t compensate adequately.
