I started on Linux with 2 floppy disks. I think it was called Floppix 'cos it was on floppy disk media.. That was with pay per minute internet that would have taken about 2 days to download a CD's worth. So intrigued I then Installed Debian when it was somewhere around the potato distribution. Been with Debian ever since and watched it develop over the years and greatly enjoyed each new version. Debian is not cutting edge but when they issue a new version it is rock solid and ready for commercial use. I hate windows, it is just too damn constrictive to use compared to a Linux system. My wife has Win 10 and I hate having to pick up the pieces each time it falls over.
