The Ultimate3S was not really intended as a CW transmitter, it was supposed to be an automated beacon transmitter. 

The potentiometer tuning modification does not work in the current release. It is still on my list of things to fix. 

At the moment the way to do it is using the manual TX mode of the Ultimate3S, which allows you to enter an operation frequency. In that mode one of the buttons functions as the key. It allows manual keying.

Can you outline the process for us to select the band, set the frequency and use the ULTIMATE 3S use as CW transmitter?

There was some discussion on using the programming interface to do that. If so, please elaborate. And a sample programming file would be really cool.
